Acrylic painting of a bride and groom kissing while she holds a bouquet of sunflowers

Acrylic Paintings are a modern way of painting. They dry much faster than Oil Paintings and produce bold, vibrant colors, though the finished result looks very close to Oil.

The painting turns out true to the actual subject and looks magnificent once done!

We house professional acrylic painters with years of experience creating acrylic artworks.

We use colors from Winsor & Newton and a high-quality canvas to deliver an experience of a lifetime!

Your portrait, hand-painted & delivered in as little as 14 days!

What Our Customers Say

Jeremy Zylka

Portrait Flip created a beautiful acrylic painting that captured a moment between my parents and their parents that my parents wish, more than anything, they had.

The best painting I could have asked for! The artist and the company are absolutely amazing, and I seriously can’t thank you enough. The acrylic painting was very close to the picture.

I barely had any good pictures with Mom. I am so glad I got a merged acrylic painting, as it looks even better than any picture. I had tears.

Frequently Asked Questions

Acrylic paintings are modern, while oil paintings are painted in a traditional, old-school way. Acrylic Paintings require little drying time, whereas Oil Paintings are painted layer by layer, with each layer needing drying time. When it comes to the outcome, both look the same. Here’s how we bring your acrylic portrait to life, step by step:
Step 1 – Our artist picks the artboard in the size you have ordered and creates a basic outline of the subjects.
Step 2 – Then they start filling in these outlines by painting with a large brush.
Step 3 – The artist refines the painting by adding intricate details and painting it as close to the actual photo as possible.
Step 4 – Some finishing touches are given, and the painting is ready.
Step 5 – If you have requested a frame or gallery-wrapped service, then the painting will be framed/gallery-wrapped and packed. Now it is ready to ship.
